Sports Talk with Brodes: Phillies Hit 2 for 17 with RISP in 8-4 Loss to Arizona!
The Phillies had a VERY embarrassing night to lose 8-4 to the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Phils recorded two hits with 17 runners in scoring position. The Diamondbacks were trying to give this game away with all of their errors and sloppy play. The biggest moment was when Rhys Hoskins and Bryce Harper struck out back to back with bases loaded. They were leading the game 3-2 at this point. Jake Arrieta grinded through five innings. The bullpen was abysmal as Ranger Suarez, Blake Parker, and Zach Eflin all allowed runs. Since July 1st, the Phillies are three for 33 with the bases loaded. THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO!
