Sports Talk with Brodes: Phillies Lose 3-1 & Dallas Keuchel Cruises…

The Phillies lose to the Braves by a score of 3-1. Dallas Keuchel was on the mound and he cruised through six innings and struck out eight. I am sure Matt Klentak loved watching that. Although he might not have even noticed the significance. Zach Eflin struggled to pitch more than four innings. He allowed a three-run home run to Tyler Flowers, but the runs were unearned since Jean Segura recorded an error previously. In the fifth, Bryce Harper had bases loaded with one out and grounded out into a double play. He also had another outfield assist to end the top of the ninth. Nick Vincent was in the game at the time and Gabe Kapler stated post game that he would have left Vincent in with bases loaded and Freddie Freeman up. That is HYSTERICAL to me!
