The Phillies lose 4-3 to the Chicago White Sox in 15 innings. This game was absolutely absurd. Not only did the Phillies fail to score runs with bases loaded three times in this ball game, but they also blew the lead in the ninth. Vince Velasquez made three insane plays out in left field, including a cannon throw home to get an out at the plate, while Roman Quinn was on the mound pitching. Gabe Kapler made some very questionable decisions throughout the entire game. I would say this can arguably be his worst game as a manager. Jason Vargas made his debut throwing over six innings and giving the team a decent start. I am lost for words when it comes to how this game played out. (Yet, I talk about it for over 10 minutes.)
