The Phillies fall in game two of the series against the Padres by a score of 5-3. The Phils took an early 3-0 lead, but the pitching staff could not hold on. Zach Eflin had a horrendous start, only throwing three and two-third innings. He only had one swing and miss pitch all night and failed to get out of the fourth inning with an 0-2 count multiple times. The worst part about it, one was against the opposing pitcher. Also, Nick Pivetta entered in relief and struggled. The offense went quiet after the first few innings, but my disappointment is based off the pitching. JT Realmuto stays hot as he crushed another home run. Bryce Harper and Rhys Hoskins both were hitless.
