The Phillies salvage the series by winning the third game 5-2. Zach Eflin was dealing through seven innings. He recorded a one-two-three inning in five of those and only threw 84 total pitches. Pete Alonso did hit a solo home run in the first and Brad Miller responded with one of his own in the second. Corey Dcikerson provided an RBI as well for the Phils to take a 2-1 lead. In the bottom half of the seventh, Gabe Kapler pulled Eflin, but we found out he had oblique tightness. The bullpen, of course, lost the lead, and Scott Kingery saved the day with a bases loaded double!
