The Phillies take down the Mets 7-2 in the ninth inning. Scott Kingery started off the game with a first pitch home run off Jacob deGrom. After going down 2-1, the Phils scored on a dribbler to third base in the seventh, where Rhys Hoskins slid home to tie the game. He was out, but because the Mets did not have any challenges left, the call on the field stood. The ninth inning was explosive for the Phils as they scored five times, including a Jay Bruce clutch rbi single to take the lead.
