Miami Marlins

Decided against posting our Marlins preview as the team does not deserve any recognition for another 'fire sale' they put their fans through. In fact, the Marlins reporter we did have on said the only 'good' thing the ownership has given the fans in the last 10 years is Marlins Park. That's including their second World Series victory as it was done with the previous ownerships roster.

Atlanta Braves

790 The Zone host Chris Dimino called in with some strong opinions on what his Atlanta Braves will do this season. Dimino has newly acquired Justin Upton winning the NL MVP! However, Dimino did say that the loss of Martin Prado will hurt because was the 'heart and soul of their clubhouse.' Dimino also said that a lot will rely on Dan Uggla's play at 2B as well as their platoon at third. Follow Dimino on Twitter.

New York Mets

Adam Rubin, ESPN New York called in to preview the Mets. The news came down yesterday that Johan Santana would most likely miss the season with a shoulder injury. It's the same surgery that Chien-Ming Wang received and he was never the same pitcher.  Rubin said it will be a long process in Santana's recovery before he can pitch again, if ever. There was good news, however! Rubin said that David Wright could be a Met for life after signing his mega deal in the off season and being named captain of the team a short time ago. Philadelphia Phillies

Our Phillies Insider Matt Hammond called in for a preview of the hometown team. Hammond was with Charlie Manuel today where Manuel told the media that he is 'comfortable' with Ben Revere leading off and that he's close to making a decision on the lead off position. Hammond also believes that the fans will be pleasantly surprised with the season Chase Utley will have. Phillies start season on Monday in Atlanta.

Washington Nationals

The voice of the Washington Nationals, Bob Carpenter, called in to preview the current NL East champions. Carpenter does think that the team won the division ahead of schedule, but that doesn't make them over confident. Many of their players are even-keel such as Ryan Zimmerman and Adam LaRoche.  If anything, the Game 5 collapse last season in the playoffs gives them unfinished business. On Bryce Harper: his maturity has been evident from last season to this season.
