Adam Caplan who was a guest of the Sports Bash this week, believes the Eagles will shop DeSean Jackson around the league after placing the franchise tag on the free agent later this month. If the Eagles can find a trade partner for Jackson, they would likely to turn free agent market or the draft to find a replacement.

Speaking of FA wide-outs, an NBC Philadelphia report suggests that free agent Plaxico Burress "badly" wants to sign with the Eagles. Entering his age-35 season, Plax can still score touchdowns, scoring 8 TD's in New York this season with the Jets.
A source told Scott Lauber of the Boston Herald that there is "no sense of progress" between the Red Sox front office and free agent right-hander Roy Oswalt.
Phillies GM Ruben Amaro Jr. acknowledged Wednesday that he's had discussions with Roy Oswalt's agent. ESPN's Jayson Stark reports that the Phillies have been shopping right-hander Joe Blanton to make room for Oswalt. Unless the Phillies can move Blanton, Amaro says that a reunion with the free agent Oswalt is "not feasible."
Here are the contract details on the Juan Pierre deal, who signed a minor league deal with the Phillies last week. Pierre will earn $800K on the Major League roster and he could earn additional incentives based on plate appearances, Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com tweets.
