I watched the entire Flyers game yesterday and was extremely pleased with their effort. The Flyers have picked up where they left off when play was suspended in March. The Flyers have won 10 of their last 12 games and are currently 2-0 during the Round Robin tournament. This team is firing on all cylinders and their head coach, Alain Vigneault,

said “ they are playing extremely well without the puck and are making high percentage plays with the puck”. The Flyers are playing spirited hockey and it's exciting to watch. On Saturday, the Flyers will face the Steven Stamkos-less Tampa Bay Lightning. Stamkos scored 29 goals and 37 assists for 66 points in 59 games during the 2019-20 season. Without Stamkos, Tampa Bay is still a tough team but will have their work cut out for them against the hot Flyers! I look for a great finish to the Round Robin tournament!

On the other hand, the 76ers are a team that are struggling to find themselves.

The turnovers are a concern and their defensive struggles continue to plague them. They can’t seem to put it together and lack the chemistry the Flyers have. To add insult to injury, the Sixers will be without their promising star, Ben Simmons, who is out with a knee injury. Tomorrow, the Sixers play the Orlando Magic who are 2-2 in their last four.

On this Saturday's edition of The Locker Room with Billy Schweim, we will take a look at the Flyers chances of winning the Stanley Cup. We will also discuss how the Sixers move forward without Ben Simmons. The “ Push for Propp” continues as we try to illuminate Brian Propp’s credentials for the Hockey Hall of Fame. For our “ Legends of Lifeguard” racing segment, we will talk with a 10-time SJ rowing champion, Ashton Funk. It all starts at 10am ‘til 12 noon on 97.3 ESPN radio South Jersey.
