The Eagles appear to be winding down their interviews to replace Doug Pederson as their next head coach.

But what about Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.

"The Eagles have expressed some thought that they might be interested in talking to him," explained ESPN Adam Schefter as a guest of KJZ on 97.3 ESPN. But we don't know if they Eagles will wrap up their coaching search this week, or take more time to look at more candidates, such as Eric Bieniemy."

Bieniemy of course is still active with the Chiefs getting ready to face the Bills on Sunday in the AFC Championship game.  Are the Eagles willing to wait around to talk to him, or are they ready to move on and get a coach in place to help prepare their offseason agenda.

While many people have listed New England's Josh McDaniels as the favorite to land the job, some other names have emerged in recent days including Colts offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni, Saints defensive coordinator Dennis Allen and Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. All three of those candidates interviewed this week.

However one name that has yet to get an interview is Bieniemy, and he might just be the best candidate for the job.

Are the Eagles willing to wait?

We'll see.
