The Eagles may still make another move or two to tweak their roster, but after adding safety David Sims (acquired from the Cleveland Browns in a trade for a conditional 2013 draft pick) and offensive lineman Nate Menkin (claimed off waivers from the Houston Texans), they have addressed the two positions that were lacking.

In so doing, the Eagles released offensive guard/center Julian Vandervelde and cornerback Trevard Lindley to make room on the roster.

The Eagles kept 24 players on offense, three on special teams and 26 on defense, comprising their 53 man roster.  Today we’ll break down the offense and special teams and tomorrow we’ll dive into the defensive side of the ball.
