CAL Forward Jaylen Brown Works Out for Sixers

The Philadelphia Sixers have scheduled a workout today with 19-year-old University of California forward Jaylen Brown. He could be an option if the Sixers made a move down the draft via trade and is ranked as tnhe No. 8 player on ESPN Insider Chad Ford’s Big Board.

KSTP reporter Darren Wolfson said the versatile forward  will also visit the Minnesota Timberwolves at some point next week.

Brown is an elite athlete who can take the ball to the basket and finish.  One of the things he has been working on through the draft process is his long-range shot and his ball-handling. .

With Ben Simmons reportedly unlikely to work out for NBA teams in advance of the draft and Brandon Ingram in for a workout yesterday it still seems unlikely that Brown would be in play for the Sixers as far as the No. 1 overall pick.
