Cedar Creek Football Star Commits to Rutgers
The Cedar Creek to Rutgers pipeline is continuing to grow.
Wide receiver Jovanni 'JoJo' Bermudez committed to be a Scarlet Knight, joining former Pirates Max and Bo Melton. He made the announcement Thursday on Twitter.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound is having a fine junior season in five games with 21 catches, 319 yards and two scores for Cedar Creek. He also has 24 carries for 263 yards and three touchdowns.
As a sophomore, bermudez had 54 catches for 899 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Bermudez had offers from Central Michigan, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Princeton, Syracuse and Yale.
