The Philadelphia Eagles are in an all too familiar place following the firing of offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, but they’ve pivoted quickly by requesting interviews with candidates for the job opening.

Casting a Wider Net: Matt Nagy and Other Candidates

Looking for their sixth play-caller since Nick Sirianni was hired before the 2021 season, Philadelphia has missed out on some of the bigger names like Mike McDaniel and Brian Daboll, along with former Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson, who took a job in Tampa Bay with the Buccaneers.

Now the Eagles are casting a wider net and are back into full-on search mode.

On Wednesday, the team was reported to interview Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy for the opening.
