Eagles Sign WR Terrace Marshall to 1-Year Deal: Former Panthers, Raiders Wideout Adds Slot Depth
The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with wide receiver Terrace Marshall on a one-year deal.
In his only year with the Raiders, Marshall recorded just three catches for 41 yards across seven games played in 2024.
Marshall entered the league as a second-round pick out of LSU by the Panthers in 2021, spending three seasons in Carolina. In three seasons in Carolina, Marshall totaled 767 yards on 64 receptions with one touchdown.
After leaving Carolina, he then signed on with the San Francisco 49ers practice squad and was eventually waived before landing in Vegas.
His best season came in 2022, recording 28 catches for 490 yards and one score.
Terrace Marshall 2025 outlook
Marshall joins the wide receivers room that features A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith at the top of the depth chart with Johan Dotson and a pair of second-year players, Ainias Smith and Johnny Wilson, rounding out the position.
At 6'3" and 205 pounds, Marshall excelled as a slot receiver while playing at LSU with Minnesota's Justin Jefferson and Cincinnati's Ja’Marr Chase with Joe Burrow throwing him the football.
Eagles WR room competition
He could push Dotson for the No. 3 job in the slot or, at the very least, provide more competition at training camp for Smith and Wilson, adding more depth to the position. This is a classic Howei Roseman move, with low-risk and high-reward potential.
