PHILADELPHIA (973espn.com) - As expected the Eagles will begin training camp without a pair of injured players, cornerback Sidney Jones and defensive tackle Beau Allen.

Each was placed on the Non-Football Injury list. Jones, the team's second-round pick out of Washington, ruptured his Achilles at his pro day back in March, while Allen, the Eagles' backup nose tackle, torn his pec while lifting in the offseason.

Philadelphia also made another pair of roster moves, releasing cornerback Dwayne Gratz and officially signing quarterback Dane Evans.

A former third-round pick in Jacksonville back in 2013, Gratz struggled during offseason work and never gained a foothold at a need position.

Evans starts camp as the fourth signal caller behind Carson Wentz, Nick Foles, and Matt McGloin.
