Eagles Thursday Injury Report: Fallout Of COVID-19 Positive Test
The Philadelphia Eagles released their latest Injury Report on Thursday with several players listed with "Illness" on the same day as the team had a player test positive for COVID-19:
Earlier in the day, the Eagles announced a player tested positive and there are multiple reports that the player is JJ Arcega-Whiteside. Also, John Hightower, Corey Clement, and Vinny Curry have been placed on the COVID/Reserve list because they were deemed "Close Contacts" under NFL Protocols, so their names on the Injury Report have to do with the situation with Arcega-Whiteside.
Players are listed with "Illness" even if they have not tested positive for COVID-19 but under NFL Protocols players are required to stay home and not practice out of an abundance of caution. Shaun Bradley was back at Eagles Practice after yesterday he was a DNP (Did Not Participate) due to what the team also called "Illness".
For the second straight day, Fletcher Cox and Jason Peters were on the Injury Report with the designation of "Rest" but on Thursday they were Full Participants at practice which is positive news.
Also back at practice for two straight days is Zach Ertz, who had his Practice Window activated earlier this week.
