ESPN’s Bobby Marks: What’s Next for the Sixers After Colangelo Scandal
When the news broke last Tuesday about former Sixers President of Basketball Operations and twitter burner accounts, ESPN.com front office executive Bobby Marks was standing right next to him in Los Angles.
I was in Los Angeles when this story broke and actually standing next to Bryan Colangelo when I was sent a link to the article.
Marks joined the Sports Bash on Friday to discuss where the Sixers go from here, some possible GM fits for the team, what part of the story was most concerning and if this situation will affect the Sixers' ability to acquire players this offseason.
"I would rank the Sixers job right up there in the top three," Marks said on the Sports Bash. "I mean who wouldn't want that job."
We discussed if he felt Sam Hinkie would be a legit candidate, along with former Cavs GM David Griffin and others.
'I think the guy I would give a long look at would be David Griffin," Marks said. "He would certainly be an interesting name to watch here."
