Galloway, NJ, Summer Kick-Off Food Truck Festival on Saturday

It's officially the first weekend of summer at the Jersey Shore, so what will you be doing to kick off the summer season?

Summertime is the time for fairs and festivals and there's none better to kick of the summer season than the Galloway Summer Kickoff Food Truck Festival, which is on Saturday at 300 E Jimmie Leeds Road.

Enjoy delicious bites from a variety of food trucks, groove to live music by The Whitewalls, and enjoy fun-filled activities for the kids

There is always plenty of music in South Jersey, and this week's concerts include the Barefoot County Music Festival on the beach down in Wildwood. On Saturday, 90's alt-rock band Barenaked Ladies are playing over at the Tropicana, The B-52's are at Ocean and Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons are playing at Hard Rock.

There are also a ton of local acts playing all over the area this weekend. Some of my favorite spots to see live music include Nola and Villian Saints at Ocean, the Yard at Bally's, and many of the local bars outside of Atlantic City.

We've also got plenty of other local events happening like the Ventnor Summer Breach Jam on Newport avenue, there is a British Car Show out in Smithville and a Yard Sale in Ocean City in the Gardens on Saturday.
