In his 2nd season with the Eagles, Jordan Hicks is having an impactful season tailing 20 Solo Tackles, 5 Tackles for Loss, 1 Sack, and 5 Passes Deflected in 6 games in 2016.  Hicks was the Eagles' 3rd Round Pick in the 2015 NFL Draft after a good final season playing Linebacker at the University of Texas.

CSN Philly Eagles Insider Derrick Gunn joined The Sports Bash on Tuesday and spoke about Hicks impact on the Eagles defense:

"When Jordan Hicks is on his game, he is one of the better young, Inside Linebackers in the game today.  He's stout enough to play against the run, he's active enough laterally to cover in passing situations; he was a steal for where the Eagles got him for (in the NFL Draft).  Of course his season ended way too soon last year because I thought that kid had a very good chance to be Defensive Rookie of the Year and basically he's picked up where he left off.  When you have solid Inside Linebacker play that helps the outside guys because they don't have to worry about trying to do too much both on the inside and the outside; and I thought Jordan Hicks was a definitive key into the overall success of that defense on Sunday."
