Here is my list of seven must-see games (after March 4th) that if you win, you might want to go see in person:
1. LA Clippers at Golden State - (Sunday, March 8, 3:30)
If you have never been to Oracle Arena it is one of the great atmosphere's in the NBA. There might not a better duo in the league right now than the Golden State "Splash Brothers" Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Meanwhile the Clippers have one of the most exciting teams in the league with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan - it could be a Western Conference Finals preview.
2. Cleveland at San Antonio - (Thursday, March 12, 9:30)
It's a rematch of the NBA Finals...well sort of. LeBron James gets another shot at the Spurs with his new, old team, the Cavs. The defending champs are currently in the seven spot in the west, while the Cavs are fourth in the east - but playing much better basketball. If you wanna see Tim Duncan play live, this might be your shot - why not go see him play verse James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving?
Do I need to explain this one? LeBron back in Cleveland, not to mention a trip to Florida in March isn't to bad either. The Cavs are going to make the playoffs, but the Heat are holding the eighth spot down. The recent emergence of Hassan Whiteside for Miami has been one of the great stories in the league to this point.
4. Golden State at Memphis - (Friday, March 27, 8pm)
It's a matchup of the top teams teams in the league playing at the FedEx Forum. Stop by and see Graceland and the best two teams in the NBA. Its the Warriors, the best offense in the league, against the Grizzlies, the best defense in the league - something has to give, why not be there to see it live?
While these teams might nig roll right off the tongue when discussing the best teams in the NBA, Toronto is currently the two seed in the east, while Houston is the three seed in the west. A pair of 25-year olds headline this trip - DeMar DeRozan has turned into one of the top players in the east for the Raptors, while James Harden is one of the top players in the west.
6. Philadelphia at New York (Sunday, April 5, 7:30)
Who's the worst? This game might reveal the answer. However, its still Philly vs New York and it's still the world most famous arena, Madison Square Garden - not much tops that. Michael Carter-Williams, Nerlens Noel vs Carmelo Anthony - where do I sign?
7. Atlanta at Washington (Sunday, April 12, 6pm)
This game could be a playoff preview, with John Wall and Paul Pierce leading the Wizards against the team with the most wins in the league - the Hawks. Led by Al Horford, Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague the Hawks have been the biggest story in the east - do they have enough to win a NBA title? Check them out in person and find out for yourself.
