The start to the 2017-18 season has been difficult for second year Forward Dario Saric.  In five games, Saric has been averaging only 5.6 Points and 4.6 Rebounds along with a 33.3 Field Goal Percentage in 21.4 Minutes per game.  After being selected NBA All-Rookie First team after his stellar 2016-17 season, Saric has struggled to find his place on the team this season with Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons finally healthy and on the court.

NBC Sports Philadelphia Sixers Analyst Marc Jackson joined The Sports Bash on Thursday and discussed what is going on with Dario Saric:

"Let’s not forget that Cadillac in the garage since we have this new Porsche in Ben Simmons. Yeah he is a Porsche, but you have a great Cadillac in garage in Dario Saric still. Right now, the coaches trying to find a way to get him into the team’s offense, but find a way to get it done. Don’t just dismiss it like we did with Jahlil Okafor....Saric is a heck of a talent that needs to be used and I’m quite sure Brett Brown in the next 3 to 5 games is going to find a way to get more out of him....I believe Saric and Ben can do some of the same thing very similar. They both like a ball in their hands, Dario doesn’t necessarily like to bring the ball up but he likes to make plays for himself and his teammates, so he needs the ball in his hands. He has a lot of talent and it’s kind of masked now with the other current talent on the roster, I think he needs to be off the bench....Dario is a basketball player, he is going to find a way to get going in the Sixers system. Whether it’s getting an offensive rebound or a loose ball, maybe it been wide open for a 3, he’s going to find a way to get open, but he needs the time on the court to do that."
