Jimmy Butler took a shot to the back while going for an alley-oop early in the game on Saturday night in Minnesota. He was in obvious pain, but didn't miss any game action, but will not play tonight when the Sixers face the Mavericks.

Meaning the Sixers will be without both Butler and Joel Embiid tonight in Dallas.

With Butler and Embiid out of action, the Sixers will start James Ennis and Jonah Bolden in their place.

The Sixers have six games remaining before the playoffs begin, and currently hold the third seed in the eastern conference, four-and-a-half games ahead of Boston and Indiana.
