Both Robert Covington and Nik Stauskas indicated that they have more confidence this season.

Stauskas has embraced the move to Philly since the day he was traded here, with seemingly more playing time on the horizon. Covington has had the benefit of an entire offseason to get acclimated with the Brett Brown's system and program after coming to Philly about 30 games into last season.

Covington filled the stat sheet last year averaging 13.5 points, 4.5 boards, 1.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.4 3-pointers in 27.9 minutes per game last season - this year he hopes to improve on those numbers after the work he put in this offseason.

Stauskas struggled in is rookie season, he averaged just 15.5 minutes per game in Sacramento, but the anticipation is that both guys are going to have a ton of chances to get open looks from beyond the arc this season and I discussed their role and more with Derek Bodner on Wednesday's show.
