In the aftermath of the Philadelphia Eagles winning Super Bowl 59, the biggest departure so far this offseason was Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore leaving to become the next Head Coach of the New Orleans Saints.

But Moore took multiple coaches with him from Philadelphia to be a part of his coaching staff in New Orleans including Quarterback Coach Doug Nussmeier.  That means the 2025 NFL season will be the fourth straight year the Eagles will be employing a different person to be the team's Quarterback's Coach.

The latest name to interview for the Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Coach opening is a man from New Jersey who coached High School Football for almost 20 years in The Garden State.

Details About Who The Eagles Have Interviewed To Be Next QB Coach

Most recently the University of Syracuse Quarterbacks Coach and Associate Head Coach, Nunzio Campanile is originally from Fair Lawn, New Jersey.  Last season he worked with NFL Draft QB Prospect Kyle McCord who set the all-time single-season passing record for the Atlantic Coast Conference (4,779).

Campanile spent over 18 years as a High School Football Coach at two different New Jersey Catholic Football Powerhouse programs. He was the Offensive Coordinator at Don Bosco Prep (2000 to 2009) before becoming Head Football Coach at Bergen Catholic High School (2010-2017).

In 2018 Nunzio Campanile left High School Football to become a College Football Coach at Rutgers University. He worked as a Tight Ends Coach and Running Back Coach in different seasons along with serving as Interim Head Coach when Chris Ashe was fired.

He was retained as a member of Head Coach Greg Schaino's staff at Rutgers until he joined the Syracuse Football program in 2023.  Campanile comes from a family of coaches with his brother, Anthony, recently hired to be the Jacksonville Jaguars' Defensive Coordinator, and his other brother, Vito, is currently the Bergan Catholic Head Football Coach.

I spoke with Don Bosco Prep High School Graduate and NBA Insider Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson who says that Nunzio Campanile was a well-respected Physical Education teacher years ago who had good relationships with both students and other coaches.

While Nunzio Campanile has no coaching experience in the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles are no strangers to hiring coaches with unique backgrounds.  Also, Head Coach Nick Sirianni also comes from a family of Football Coaches so he and Campanile probably have plenty of personal common ground.

We also know that Nunzio Campanile comes highly recommended by former NFL Head Coach and current Rutgers Football HC Greg Schiano.

For a decade, Campanile was a part of establishing the legacy and reputation of the Don Bosco Prep Athletics. Today, that school is rated one of the best High Schools for Sports in New Jersey:
