The Philadelphia Eagles’ 2021 schedule features two primetime games, including one against the Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and another against their NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys.

Philadelphia opens the season on the road against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sept. 12 and wraps the 17-game slate with a home finale at Lincoln Financial Field against the Cowboys.

Among other notable games are a Week 4 hosting of the AFC champion Kansas City Chief, as they welcome back their former head coach Andy Reid. The team will visit Las Vegas for the first time, facing the Raiders in Week 7 and will play at MetLife Stadium in back-to-back weeks against the Giants in Week 12 and Jets in Week 13.

The Eagles’ final time in an airplane will happen in Week 10 when they travel to Denver, every game after that will be a bus ride or a home game. Philadelphia will have their bye in Week 14, and will close the season with four consecutive games against NFC East opponents, three of which will be at Lincoln Financial Field.

Schedule Notes

• With the new 17-game regular season, the Eagles will have nine road games and eight home games.

• The Eagles will not be a major primetime team in 2021 with just two primetime games, both in the first six weeks of the season.  It is worth noting, though, that the NFL can flex the Eagles into primetime games from Week 7 to the end of the year should they surprise.

• The Eagles face their NFC East foes twice, as well as all four teams in the AFC West and NFC South.

• When the schedule officially became a 17-game schedule, the Jets were added to the Eagles’ list of opponents as the last place team in the AFC East last season.

• Philadelphia will be the first team to face Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts. The No. 4 pick of the 2021 NFL Draft was the first non-quarterback taken in the draft.

• Looking at opposing quarterbacks, the Eagles will not have to face Drew Brees this season, after he retired. What Philadelphia will face, though, is Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Sam Darnold, Matt Ryan and the No. 2 overall pick, Zach Wilson.

• And after no fans in the stands for Philadelphia’s home games last year, there should be fans back in the stands in 2021.
