According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network,  Maddox has a significant toe injury,  that forced him to leave the game on Saturday in Dallas.

He is out indefinitely.

Maddox missed time earlier this season with a hamstring injury.

If he is out for a significant amount of time, expect Josiah Scott to serve as starting nickel corner at least against the Saints.

The team is hopeful to have safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson back and could potentially use him in the slot corner role, with Reed Blankenship remaining at safety.
