The Philadelphia Eagles will need to replace their quarterback coach.

Former Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who is the new head coach in New Orleans with the Saints, will be hiring Doug Nussmeier to be his offensive coordinator according to veteran NFL insider Josina Anderson.

Nussmeirer spent last season with the Eagles and has more than two decades of coaching experience in both college and the NFL. He has also worked with Moore in three different stops, Dallas, Los Angeles Philadelphia, and now will be heading to New Orleans to be his offensive coordinator.

Who is replacing Nussmeier as QB coach and Moore as offensive coordinator?

"There is no question they are down a coach," said Adam Caplan from the Inside the Bird Podcast during Tuesday's edition of Football at Four on The Sports Bash. He says with the implication that the team doesn't have an in-house candidate to replace Nussmeier in that role.

Per Anderson, the organization is taking time off but has a vision for how they intend to fill the OC vacancy. As for the QB coach, it seems like the team might have to look outside the organization to fill that role.

"I think Patullo is the best option (to replace Moore)," said Jeff Kerr from CBS Sports on the Sports Bash.  "He's a mix of Sirainni's offense and Moore's offense."
