Sanders, Ertz Set to Receive MRI’s
Three more Eagles went down with injuries in the Eagles 30-28 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Tight end Zach Ertz, right tackle Jack Driscoll and running back Miles Sanders all had left the game and did not return.
FOX NFL insider Jay Glazer reported that both Ertz and Sanders will have MRI's on their injuries on Monday, and that Sanders is the "greater concern" than Ertz. Sanders knee appeared to bend at the end of a 74-yard run in the second half.during a 74-yard run that led to a touchdown when he fumbled into the endzone and it was recovered by J.J. Arcega-Whiteside. Ertz was helped off the field in the fourth quarter, with an ankle injury.
The Eagles play the Giants on Thursday night, the Eagles could be short-handed again, but could be getting DeSean Jackson back.
If Sanders is unable to go, expect to see a bigger role for Boston Scott, who did a score three touchdowns in a game last season against the Giants.
If Sanders and Ertz con't play on Thursday, Carson Wentz would be without Ertz, Sanders, Dallas Goedert, Jalen Reagor, and Alshon Jeffrey along with possibly four of his five starting lineman if Lane Johnson is unable to play again.
