In the Eagles-Dolphins trade that sent Byron Maxwell and Kiko Alonso to Miami, the two teams swapped drafted picks which moves the Eagles from 13th to 8th overall in the 2016 NFL Draft.ESPN.com NFL Nation Eagles reporter Phil Sheridan had an interesting take on who the Eagles may select at 8th overall:

"Maybe the reason the Eagles moved up to No. 8 overall is to take a shot at Ohio State Running Back Ezekiel Elliott or Offensive Lineman Taylor Decker," Sheridan said as a guest of the Sports Bash.

According to ESPN's Scouts Inc Ezekiel Elliott is number one ranked Running Back in 2016 NFL Draft class; Elliott was a three down RB at Ohio State who has the strength to run between the tackles as well as the speed to break away from defenders.

Taylor Decker is 4th ranked offensive lineman in this year's NFL Draft class as rated by ESPN's Scouts Inc.  Decker is a very strong athlete who some scouts project as a Starting Offensive Guard in the NFL instead of Tackle.

Sheridan also spoke with Mike Gill on Wednesday about the Eagles trade of Demarco Murray as well as the signings of Leodis McKelvin, Rodney McLeod and Chase Daniels.
