ShopRite LPGA Will Take Place in the Fall of 2020

One of the areas signature sporting events will be played in 2020.

The ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer is moving to the fall and will continued to be held at the Seaview Bay Course. This event was been held in South Jersey from 1986 to 2006 and returned to the schedule in 2010.

The annual event was originally scheduled for May 26-31, but like many other sports was been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will now be played this year per as release on September 28 - October 4, 2020.

"We look forward to visiting the Jersey Shore in October and continuing an incredible tradition of great championships and giving back to the local community,” said LPGA Commissioner Mike Whan in a press release.

Lexi Thompson is the defending champion.
