Per a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Atlanta Hawks interviewed Sixers assistant coach Lloyd Pierce on Friday for their head coach position that was recently vacated by Mike Budenholzer after the team and the five-year head coach came to a buyout agreement.

Pierce has been around the league since 2007 when he was a member of the Cleveland Cavilers staff. He was first hired as coordinator for player development with the Cavs, since then he has worked with Golden State and Memphis before landing in Philadelphia in 2013 to work with Brett Brown.
