The Sixers and Celtics have made a draft night deal and for the second time it involves the Sixers landing a University of Washington guard.

The Sixers made the deal with Boston, sending the 24th and 33rd picks in exchange for the draft rights to Matisse Thybulle, the 2018-19 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year.

He averaged 3.5 steals and 2.3 blocks in his 31.1 minutes per game in his senior year at Washington. The 6-5 shooting guard joins last years first-round pick Zhaire Smith as defensive minded guards, who can defend on the wing and perimeter.

Thybulle has a way to go on the offensive end of the floor, averaging just 9.1 points, 3.1 boards, 2.1 assists as a senior.
