The Sixers have exercised 2015-16 team options for Michael Carter-WilliamsTony Wroten, and Nerlens Noel, a source with knowledge of the situation has told LibertyBallers.

As is standard for rookie scale contracts, the third and fourth year on the contracts are team options, where the team has until the preceeding October 31st to exercise the options.

For Michael Carter-Williams and Nerlens Noel, the 2015-16 options are for their 3rd season, and it will pay them roughly $2.4 million and $3.4 million, respectively, as slotted by the NBA's rookie scale. For Tony Wroten, the 2015-16 option year that has been picked up will be for his 4th season in the league, paying him just under $2.2 million.

It was all but a foregone conclusion that the team would exercise the 2015-16 option for all three.

The team would have had similar decisions to make with Marquis Teague and Arnett Moultrie, but they waived Teague and traded Moultrie to the New York Knicks earlier in the week.
