Sixers Starting shooting guard Jason Richardson will miss Wednesday's game in Memphis due to a lower back strain.  Doug Collins announced at the team's shoot around today that Dorell Wright will start in his absence.

Both Wright and swing man Nick Young will see more time on this 11-game day road-trip if Richardson misses substantial time, which is not expected.

Richardson, who has battled knee and ankle injuries this season can now add his back to the list of ailments to worry about this season.

Wright played well filling in for Jrue Holiday last week, he had two recent games where he's had at least 20 points, but his minutes have gone down with Holiday back.  However, he should get a bulk of the minutes in Richardson's absence.

Richardson is coming off a night where he shot just 2-of-10 from the field for five points with five rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes against the Nets on Sunday.  After getting off to a hot start, he's had single-digit scoring in four of his last seven games.
