Philadelphia Sixers forward Robert Covington is expected to play when the team takes on the Thunder Friday night.

Covington left last Saturday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, taking a nasty spill diving into the stands for a loose ball, injuring his back in the process.

Following the injury, Covington was forced to sit out the past two games against New Orleans and Minnesota, but he will be able to go on Friday against Oklahoma City.

This season, Covington is averaging 15.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
