After dealing Jrue Holiday away, with the No. 11 pick of the 2013 draft, the Sixers selected Syracuse 6'6" point guard Michael Carter-Williams to replace him.  With Holiday gone Carter-Williams figures to be the starting PG on opening night.

Here are his positives from

  • Big point guard with elite size
  • Can score from anywhere
  • Great ball handler
  • Excellent court vision
  • Can play both the point and the two
  • Quick first step
  • Excellent floater in the lane
  • Rangy defender who racks up steals

Here are his negatives from

  • Needs to add strength
  • Needs to improve consistency from beyond the arc
  • Can be turnover prone when playing physical players
