Joel Embiid has always been one of the most popular jersey sales in the NBA, but he isn't even the most popular jersey on his own team this season.

That distinction would go to Tyrese Maxey, who has the ninth highest selling jersey in the NBA, while Embiid ranks 12th on the list of the NBA's top-selling jerseys for the first half of the season.

Its Maxey's first appearance on the Most Popular Jersey list.

Last year Embiid was No. 13 on the list, he was sixth during the 2021-22 season, he was fifth during the 2018-19 season and eighth in 2017-2018 season.

Maxey is seeing a surge in sales in large part because of his breakout season.  In 42 games this season, he is scoring a career-high 25.7 points per game, 6.6 rebounds  and connecting on 37.3 of his 3-point shots.
