While we have great restaurants all over South Jersey, there are several that have gotten some national recognition.

Over in Somers Point, one pizza shop has become a local foodie hotspot and has been ranked as one of America's 10 best restaurants by USA Today.

USA Today has kicked off the new year by revealing the 10 Best New Restaurants in the United States for 2026.

From Underground Pizza to #3 in the United States

This USA Today poll determined the top 10 new eateries nationwide based on votes from its readers, and the new pizza hotspot Squares & Fare landed at No. 3 on the list!

Squares & Fare opened about 14 months ago and went from an underground pizza shop to one of the best new spots in the country.

Offering a simple menu that is pizza-heavy, with some really unique styles of pizza. This restaurant delivers a small, quaint spot that specializes in takeout, but has a few tables to eat inside at 7 E. New Jersey Ave., Somers Point.
