Since being the Phillies 2016 MLB All-Star Representative, Odubel Herrera has struggled with a .255 Batting Average and .322 On-Base Percentage over 31 Games.  There has been speculation that the Phillies could look to trade Herrera this offseason with other Outfield Prospects in the Minor Leagues such as Nick Williams, Roman Quinn and Dylan Cozens making a case to be the Phillies' Outfielders of the future.

CSN Philly Phillies Pre and Post Game Analyst Marlon Anderson joined The Sports Bash on Thursday and explained why he wouldn't trade the second year Outfielder:

“They can trade him, but I don't agree with it, I think Odubel has a lot to offer. He has two years above Double-A and he made the All-Star team this year.  There is a lot of upside to Odubel; the problem with the Phillies is they don't have enough complementary players that are veteran guys who are going to have those good at bats that allow the young players to grow a little bit and make some mistakes without them being so glaring....If he is on a different team, they can put him in their lineup and he is not a focal point. He is not a guy you have to worry about.”
