View from my living room:
I’m still recovering from a hectic, crazy, joyous Christmas that featured three days’ worth of drinking spiked egg nog, eating cookies and watching our four grandsons open presents from Santa.

Three stars

  1. Eagles edge rusher Jalyx Hunt (2 sacks, 2 tackles for loss).
  2. Bills linebacker Matt Milano (team-high 7 tackles, half-sack, one tackle for loss).
  3. Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter (blocked PAT).

Eagles’ best play

Carter raised his left hand and swatted away a PAT attempt by Bills place-kicker Michael Badgely after Buffalo’s first touchdown.

Eagles’ worst play

The Eagles allowed Josh Allen, running back Tyrell Shavers and wide receiver Ty Johnson to gain 25 yards on a hook-and-lateral play on a fourth-and-10 from the Bills’ 29-yard line that set up the Bills second TD.

Turning point

Obviously, the game wasn’t decided until the end, when the Bills’ attempt at a go-ahead two-point conversion was unsuccessful. Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir was open in the end zone, but Allen’s pass fell incomplete.
