We enjoyed another raucous, rowdy, delicious breakfast with the three oldest grandsons at Uncle Bill’s Pancake House in Cape May. FYI, Cape May was the most crowded we’ve seen in years on Saturday and that includes 4^th of July weekends.

Eagles’ best play

At 37 years, 355 days old, defensive end Brandon Graham became the oldest Eagle to register a sack when he dropped Raiders quarterback Kenny Pickett in the first quarter. Graham, who came out of retirement a few weeks ago, surpassed Richard Dent, who was 37 years and 1 day old when he had a sack against Atlanta in 1997.

Eagles’ worst play

I’m stretching here, but I guess it was Cooper DeJean’s unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after Graham’s first sack that extended the Raiders’ opening drive.

Turning point

Leading 17-0 at halftime, the Eagles ended any thoughts of a Raiders comeback early in the third quarter when linebacker Zack Baun grabbed an interception and Hurts hit Goedert for a 4-yard TD shovel pass on the ensuing possession to extend the lead to 24-0.

Did you notice?

Quarterback Tanner McKee made his season debut in the fourth quarter in relief of Hurts and completed 3-of-3 passes for 33 yards.… Hurts attempted only 15 passes and completed 12 for 175 yards.… Raiders quarterback Kenny Pickett was 15-for-25 for 64 yards and was sacked four times.… Saquon Barkley was held under 100 yards again with 78 on 22 carries.… The Eagles outgained the Raiders 387-75 in total yards. … The Raiders had only seven first downs.…The Raiders have lost eight straight.
