Last year the Sixers were left at the free agent alter, but there was plenty of buzz around them, and it might be the case again this offseason.

Could they land one of the big free agent prizes this offseason?

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Raptors and Clippers are considered the favorites to land Toronto free agent Kawhi Leonard.  However, he mentioned three other teams that Leonard may meet with, the New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets.

"I'm told that Leonard may very well take visits in free agency," explained Wojnarowski.  Meeting at least with the Knicks, 76ers, possibly even the Nets, in addition to the Clippers."

Leonard did play for the Spurs, where Brett Brown was an assistant coach, before coming to Philadelphia.

The Sixers had a curious draft night, sending away picks and seemingly trying to save every dollar they could.  Does Elton Brand have something up his sleeve?

If they figured out a way to bring in Leonard, i'm sure the sting of landing only one player on draft night, when they had five picks, would go away pretty quick.
