The Sixers will already be without two key players when they face the Houston Rockets on Friday night, and could be without a third key player.

Centers Joel Embiid and Boban Marjonovis have both been ruled out, and point guard Ben Simmons is suffering from gastroenteritis, missing the teams shootaround today in Houston.

With Simmons out, Jimmy Butler could see more time at point guard, while T.J. McConnell would likely get the start, and an up-tick in minutes.

Simmons is averaging 19.1 points, 11.1 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 1.9 steals in 37.9 minutes.

Update: Ben Simmons will play vs. Houston on Friday.
