The Philadelphia Eagles are in the midst of potentially the most important stretch of games this season. After winning against the Washington Commanders, the Eagles are currently in the driver's seat for the NFC East.

Three of the Eagles' next five games are against NFC Opponents and winning these games will be important to give Philadelphia tiebreakers for Playoff Standings. After winning on Thursday Night Football, the Eagles got some extended time off before their next game.

One player who will be unavailable when the Eagles play the Rams on Sunday Night Football is Edge Rusher Bryce Huff.  Head Coach Nick Sirianni confirmed on Wednesday that Huff is having surgery on his injured list and the team hopes he will return to the field before the end of the regular season.

Earlier this week, Philadelphia opened the Practice Window for Wide Receiver Britain Covey and they have until December 11th to activate him back onto the 53-man roster. Covey's return could be more important to the Eagles' Offense than we previously thought.

One Eagles Starter Ruled OUT, Two Rams Could Return On Sunday

Wide Receiver Devonta Smith did not participate in Practice this week as the Eagles prepare for Sunday's game in Los Angeles. Smith sustained a Hamstring Injury during Philadelphia's win on Thursday Night Football.

Smith is the only Eagles player ruled Out for Sunday's game in Los Angeles. Without Smith, the expectation is for Jahan Dotson to play as Outside Receiver across from AJ Brown. The reps for the third Wide Receiver position could be Rookie Johnny Wilson or Veteran Paris Campbell.

Smith is the third Eagles Offensive Weapon to sustain a Hamstring Injury this season. Both Wide Receiver AJ Brown and Tight End Dallas Goedert missed three games during their recovery from their Hamstring Injuries.

Wide Receiver and Punt Returner Britain Covey is listed as Questionable on Friday's Injury Report. Covey has participated in practice every day this week but in order for him to play on Sunday, the Eagles must activate him from the Injured Reserve list by 4 pm on Saturday.

The Los Angeles Rams have only one player who has not participated in any practices this week. Cornerback Charles Woods has not played in any games since NFL Week 9 after he sustained an Ankle Injury.

Starting Right Tackle Rob Havenstein returned to practice this week after missing the last two games with an Ankle Injury and practiced for the first time on Thursday.  Even though he is listed as Doubtful for Sunday NightHead Coach Sean McVay told the media on Thursday they are hopeful that the Right Tackle will be a full-go for Sunday Night.

Starting Right Guard Kevin Dotson did not practice on Thursday as he is dealing with an Illness.  Dotson has been cleared to start on Sunday next to Rookie Center Beaux Limmer.

Sunday Night will be only the 3rd game that DeVonta Smith will miss in his four NFL seasons. He is already top 20 in Receptions, Touchdown Catches, and Receiving Yards in Eagles Franchise History. Here are the Top 10 WRs in the almost 100 years of the Eagles organization:
