The Eagles added two-time Pro Bowler Linval Joseph on Wednesday, on Thursday they went back down memory lane to add former Pro Bowler Ndamukong Suh.

Suh, 35, played in 17 games last season in Tampa he had six sacks and 13 quarterback hits in a scaled back role. He was a force for the Buccaneers in 2022, cogging the middle for one of the NFL's best run defenses.

Adding Suh and Joseph will give the team some extra depth for the time being while Jordan Davis and Marlon Tuipulotu sit on the sidelines with injuries.

Suh is a five-time All-Pro Bowler who is brought in to give the team more depth on the defnesive line, and could play some defensive tackle as well as some 3-or-5 technique on thew nose.

Joseph is a guy who Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon is familiar with from their time together in Minnesota, so he knows what kind of player an skill set he provides.

"He's a really good player against the run," Gannon explained. "Then with Marlon [Tuipulotu] getting hurt we needed to add another piece there. I was with Linval for four years. He's a really good player. His attitude is right. His character is great. He practices extremely hard. He is diligent. He kind of fits right into what we do and how he wants to play and what he wants to do, and I think it'll help us."

Joseph was out on the practice field and should be available for the game on Sunday.

Now he has a new partner to play with in Suh.  We shall see if he is ready and able to play on Sunday against the Colts.
