Eagles bring back Jack Driscoll and add wide receiver
The Eagles have brought back an old friend ahead of their season opener in Brazil, adding offensive lineman Jack Driscoll along with former fifth-round pick Kyle Philips.
To make room for both on the roster, the Eagles released tight end Kyle Fowlsch and safety Caden Sterns from the practice squad.
Driscoll was originally drafted in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft and appeared in 54 games, starting 17 during this four seasons in Philadelphia. In Philly he was a versatile lineman, starting eight games at right tackle, eight at right guard, and one at left tackle for the Eagles.
He signed with the Miami Dolphins in the offseason, but did not make the team.
Philips is a slot receiver who has just 23 catches in 13 NFL games with the Titans. He has dealt with various injuries since being drafted out of UCLA in 2022.
