Free Rides to Eagles vs Cowboys Game Thanks to FanDuel and SEPTA
Need a ride to the Eagles-Cowboys game tonight?
FanDuel Steps In for Eagles Fans
The FanDuel Sportsbook has offered to take you to Lincoln Financial Field, committing enough resources to help fully restore service on SEPTA’s Broad Street Line before, during, and after the Eagles game on Thursday Night.
Free Rides After the Eagles-Cowboys Game
“We appreciate FanDuel and SEPTA for collaborating to help provide Eagles fans with convenient transportation to-and-from our home opener,” said Don Smolenski, President, Philadelphia Eagles, in a press release. “Their generous support will assist fans in getting to Lincoln Financial Field so that we can all enjoy the Championship Moment together as we take on the division rival Dallas Cowboys.”
Team’s Message to Non-Ticket Holders
SEPTA had announced a reduced number of trains to the sports complex, limiting service from their normal 10 trains down to four. The team sent out a travel advisory on Tuesday, asking fans without tickets to the game not to come down to the sports complex to tailgate.
To avoid added congestion, the Eagles are asking fans without a game ticket to not travel down to the South Philadelphia Sports Complex. Arrangements should be made to enjoy the game with family and friends at another location.
The team also announced to help accommodate the lack of public trasportation to the sports complex that they would be opening the gates earlier than normal, at 1:30 p.m.
Parking lots in the South Philadelphia Sports Complex will open earlier than what is typically advertised for home games. All parking lots will open at 1:30 p.m.
