Finding an Identity: The Mannion Era Begins

The Eagles' offense seemed to lose focus on what it wanted to be this season, and never really seemed to find an identity. Mannion comes in having played for Sean McVay and Kevin O'Connell and coached with Matt LaFleur in Green Bay the past two seasons.

"He Is Very Poised": Romeo Doubs Breaks Down Mannion’s Style

"He is amazing at what he does, Doubs said. "He is very poised, a great coach, you guys got someone amazing."

As far as what the Eagles' wide receivers, especially A.J. Brown or DeVonta Smith, can expect with Mannion calling the plays: "They can expect to see that ball. Get ready, that call is going to come."

High Expectations for the Eagles' Receiving Corps

For the Eagles' sake, they hope both Brown (if he returns) and Smith could use some more creativity in the pass game.  While both had solid seasons, they seemed a bit underutilized in the offense.

"Yes, absolutely," Doubs said when asked if he thought the wide receivers would be more involved in Mannion's offense.

Time will tell.
