Joel Embiid Likely Out Another Week

The Sixers will be without star center Joel Embiid for at least another week the All-Star said in a media availability before the teams game against the Warriors.

Embiid, who hasn't played in a game since the All-Star break, when asked said he would be back soon.  After more questions and pressing, Embiid finally laughed, as if to suggest that his knee injury was not a big deal, saying he'd be back soon - like next week.

He did get some shots up today before the game and looks like he is progressing in his recovery, saying telling the team he should sit was more of a precautionary measure.

"Right now its all about preserving, its all about the playoffs," Embiid stated.
